Anonymous asked: 1 (Don't even if it's me anymore but YOLO), 4, 6, 9, 11, 24, 37, 58, 71, 84, 90 (Not that this applies to us of course dear wife)
Oh hmm an anon asking me questions yes hmm I wonder who this is.
1. Would you have sex with the last person you text messaged?
The last person I messaged was Sarah. No comment.
4. Is trust a big issue for you?
Definitely, I mean wow yeah I trust certain people with a lot of information and in that trust is the hope that they don’t betray me/hurt me which would be very easy for them to do.
6. What are you excited for?
Well I /was/ excited for the DP retreat but since that’s postponed, mostly just the weekend (DC BotB, Int’l evening, and seeing mah bestie)
9. Is confidence cute?
VERY VERY MUCH YES I mean as much as someone who’s shy is cute, if someone is confident enough to do what they want to because they love doing it (I mean in terms of performing or whatever) then that’s super cute too.
11. How many people of the opposite sex do you fully trust?
Not that many, I don’t think. My bestie D’Arcy (you), Daniel, and my brother are probably the male people I trust the most.
24. What do you want right this second?
I want to be finished with this English Literature Prose commentary. I could also do with a snack and a cuddle.
37. Do you believe in love at first sight?
Not exactly. I believe in lust at first sight but for me love is a thing that develops as I get to know someone.
58. Ever have a Deja-vu feeling?
I get that feeling very very often actually. Mostly just when I’m sitting around and I feel like I’d been there talking about the same things with the same people.
71. Can you curl your tongue?
Yes, yes I can (I can also do that thing with turning your tongue upside down; my tongue’s super long and flexible).
84. Can you hold your breath without holding your nose?
90. Opinions on sex before marriage?
Totally open to it, especially because I question the concept of marriage itself (not with us tho dear husband we’re supercoolbeans).
I love so much that there are people who know how to make me feel better when I feel like shit (Teagan, D’Arcy, brotherface), but I hate so much that they are, so much of the time (or always in Teagan’s case), so far away.
Well that was a really great night/morning.
Yesterday Anvita, Mustafa, D’Arcy, Jobila, Yudhi, Anuradha, Hannah, and Tim came over to watch Lord of The Rings. We got through the whole first movie and by the time it was done, Hannah and Tim had left (they did just stop by to say hi). The rest of us sat around having DMCs in the garden and then listening to Fall Out Boy/Blue/S Club 7/Simple Plan among other songs from our childhoods.
Mustafa got a cab (which is hard to believe because the cab company hates me) and then at some time after midnight Jobila and Yudhi were picked up. After that it was just the bunch who were sleeping over (Anvita, An, and D’Arcy). We sat/lied around listening to music and stuff and then we discussed Lance Armstrong, the existence of a god, the educational system, and labeling/stereotypes. It was mostly An, Anvita, and I discussing stuff because D’Arcy was falling asleep. Then we came back upstairs and talked about stuff some more while D’Arcy fell asleep on the beanbags.
Sometime after 4am, we decided to call it a night. Being the awesome hostess I am, I cleared everything up and made up the beds (everyone had somewhere to sleep so it was a successful night) and we all crashed.
Woke up this morning around 11am, ate crepes, and sat around talking until not too long ago when An was picked up by her mum (and her mum and mine had a bit of a chat) and D’Arcy left in a cab.
Everything’s been cleaned up pretty easily and now I’m gonna chill for a bit and watch The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and Supernatural, before washing mum’s car and then maybe seeing Les Mis.
I’m actually just going through my Chemistry notes while Daniel and D’Arcy play TF2 wow.
They were mocking my pronunciation of the word SWORD so I said “fine then I won’t say any words at all” and they were like “oh okay yeah TF2 time”.
Last night was definitely the best NYE celebration I’ve had so far. It would’ve been even better if Hannah had joined us but she was sick so she stayed in with her mum.
I’m so used to going to a party, not feeling excited, and being disappointed on NYE. This time instead of all that, I decided to just chill with a few friends.
I met D’Arcy in front of Burgerfuel at 8 (Sarah and Anvita were late so we sat on a bench and admired the douchebags in their loud, obnoxious cars). When Sarah and Anvita did finally join us, we sat on the bench for at least another hour. We’d keep saying something along the lines of “We should get burgers and head down to the beach” and then Sarah would say “but it isn’t midnight yet”.
We did finally get our burgers (for free) and head down to the beach, where we huddled up in blankets and talked and joked and sang for a couple of hours. It was a bit windy and cold but the blankets and the company made it bearable.
As we neared midnight, the beached filled up really quickly. There were hundreds of people around us and we didn’t even notice for the longest time. When midnight finally rolled around, we had four sets of fireworks to admire and everyone was cheering and laughing and hugging and having a good time.
Midnight was followed by at least another hour on our mat, hugging and laughing and singing some more. For the longest time I was just standing there, hugging missy and looking into the sea, thinking about how great life is and has been for the last year.
We even got some great pictures which I shall share as soon as I convert them from the raw files.
I’m trying so hard to structure this post better but I can’t because the night was too amazing for words. It was absolutely magical.
Alright well it’s 9am and I’m gonna put some pants on and get my delicious chicken and mango sandwich and eat it while listening to Young The Giant and then I’m gonna read or watching something and after that I’ll go for a bike ride around JVT to get the hang of that thing and IDK about the rest of today but that’s that.
Gonna have to deal with Missy being pretty much M.I.A until Christmas morning because he’s going to Hamburg.
See, it’s like Bah humbug. Heh.
Did I tell you guys about how awesome yesterday was when Hannah, D’Arcy and I went to JBR and sat on the beach at sunset and then ate at Bob’s Diner it was so nice I love them so much.
